Items like these cannot be shipped through standard parcel carriers. Instead, they travel via freight, a specialized delivery method designed for oversized equipment. This page explains how freight shipping works and what you can expect when ordering a freight item from us.

What Is Freight Shipping?

Freight shipping uses a dedicated trucking carrier to transport large or heavy products that exceed the size and weight limits of standard parcel services like UPS or FedEx. A freight driver will bring your item directly to your delivery address on a scheduled appointment. This method ensures that bulky equipment arrives safely and in the condition you expect.

Which Products Require Freight Shipping?

Freight shipping is used for the following types of products:

  • Riding lawn mowers and zero-turn mowers
  • Portable generators (large or high-wattage models)
  • Heavy garden equipment and outdoor power tools
  • Oversized Home Finds items
  • Any other large or heavy item that exceeds standard parcel limits

If an item in your order requires freight delivery, this will be clearly noted on the product listing before you check out.

Is Freight Shipping Free?

Yes. Popcobs LLC offers free shipping on all U.S. orders, including freight shipments. There are no hidden fees, fuel surcharges, or extra charges for large or heavy items.

How Long Does Freight Delivery Take?

Freight orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days after your order has been processed. Orders are processed within 1 business day, Monday through Friday. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the assigned freight carrier. You will receive an estimated delivery window once your order ships.

How Does Freight Delivery Work?

Freight delivery is different from standard parcel delivery. Here is what to expect after placing your order:

  • Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email
  • The freight carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment — please make sure your contact information is accurate at checkout
  • You must be present at the delivery address to receive and sign for the shipment
  • The driver will bring your item to your curb or driveway — inside delivery is not included
  • Please inspect the packaging carefully before signing for the delivery

What to Do When Your Freight Order Arrives

Before you sign anything, take a moment to inspect your shipment:

  • Check the outer packaging for any visible damage, dents, or punctures
  • If you see damage, note it clearly on the delivery receipt before signing
  • Take photos of any damage, including the packaging and the item if visible
  • Contact us at Contact@popcobs.com with your order number and photos

Important: Signing for a delivery without noting visible damage may limit your ability to file a claim later. Always inspect your shipment before signing — this protects both you and your order.

What If My Freight Order Arrives Damaged?

If your item arrives damaged, do not attempt to assemble or use it. Contact us right away:

  • Email us at Contact@popcobs.com with your order number and photos of the damage
  • We will review your claim and arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you
  • You will not be responsible for return shipping on damaged items

Can I Track My Freight Order?

Yes. Once your order has shipped, we will send you a tracking number by email. You can use that number on the freight carrier's website to follow your shipment. Please allow up to 48 hours after shipment for tracking updates to become active.

What If Nobody Is Home at Delivery?

Freight deliveries require someone to be present to receive and sign for the shipment. If you are unavailable during the scheduled delivery window, please contact the freight carrier as soon as possible to reschedule. Note that missed delivery appointments may result in a redelivery fee charged by the carrier. If you need help coordinating your delivery, reach out to us and we will do our best to assist.

Do You Offer International Freight Shipping?

No. All freight shipments are delivered within the contiguous United States only. We do not currently offer international freight shipping for oversized or heavy items.
